  • 4 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 4oz Melted Butter
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar (To sprinkle on top)
  • 1 cup Raisins (light or dark)

Step 1
Mix first 5 dry ingredients together
Step 2
Add wet ingredients and mix
Step 3
Stir in raisins
Step 4
Place in greased 9 inch pie plate. Cut top in an "x" shape, sprinkle sugar on top.
Step 5
Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
