  • 1/4 cup Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Kosher Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme

This Dry Rub took me months to get right…. But it was so worth the time. Letting the rub sit on the ribs for a while definitely makes a difference in getting the flavor into the meat… so don’t skip that part.

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl. Stir with a fork, breaking up and clumps, until well blended.

Step 2
Place in a container with a lid until ready to use.
Step 3
This recipe makes enough dry rub to coat 4 racks baby back pork ribs or 3 racks St. Louis Style Ribs
