Local Artist Work On Display

The Islip Arts Council has selected local artist, Mary Anne Lund, to display her work in The Atrium Gallery at Long Island MacArthur Airport from May 3 to June 1, 2017. This showing, Both Sides of the Sound, is part of the Arts Council’s “Art in the Airport” series. More than 20 of her landscape paintings, oils and watercolors, will be on display.

All are welcome to visit this beautiful show. Mary Anne’s works can be seen during all hours the airport is open. The address is: The Atrium Gallery, Long Island MacArthur Airport, 100 Arrival Avenue, Ronkonkoma, NY.

The paintings below are from both sides of Long Island Sound.
The first is a view from the mouth of the Nissequogue/Sound in Kings Park, NY – and the second is from the mouth of Lower Alewife Cove/Sound in New London/Waterford, Ct.
